Class Collaboration Regina
I teach
Core French in Regina, SK and I
have been trying to find an
English as a second language
teacher in Quebec open to the
idea of collaborating with a
group of students learning
French as a second language.
I’m interested in setting up
online conversations amongst the
students and a number of other
projects could follow if
successful.
Would you
be able to recommend anyone you
may know who would be interested
in something like this or even
forward this email on my behalf?
It would be much appreciated and
I believe it would provide all
students involved with
authentic, meaningful
opportunities to not only speak,
but communicate in a second
language.
Thank you
for your time and bonne journée.

Media Awareness Network (MNet)
is pleased to release its 2009
annual report Media and Digital
Literacy: Engaging and
empowering youth. 2009 saw MNet
working to advance media and
digital literacy in Canada
through the release of several
new classroom resources, the
hosting of the 4th annual Media
Literacy Week, and the promotion
of the important role of digital
literacy within a federal
government digital economy
strategy.
We wish to thank our valued
partners and sponsors for
supporting our work in giving
children and youth the skills
they need to make healthy and
wise media choices, and in
ensuring parents, educators and
policymakers are informed and
aware of media issues of
concern.
In keeping with our desire to
support a sustainable
environment, we are once again
offering the annual report in
electronic format only. To
