1.             Decide what your team would like to produce. You may create a TV ad, a radio spot, a slideshow presentation, or a Web page.

2.             Write a focus sentence that will state what you are going to do and what your message will be.

3.             Discuss, in your team, what you already know about youth gambling, including what you’ve learned through personal experience or observation of others.

4.             Research the topic by viewing the sites listed in the Resources section, and consult any other sources you think might be useful. Discuss your findings with your team.

5.            Create a storyboard to plan your project. Print a copy of a blank storyboard here.

6.             When you have finished planning your production, present your storyboard to another team to get feedback on how to improve the project.

Example of a focus sentence:

For our public service announcement, our team is going to create a slideshow that will try to convince teens that gambling is totally uncool and that it can ruin your life.
