This SPEAQ-quest is designed for elementary cycle 1
and 2 students.
Young
children might need teacher's explanation first. The idea of this quest
is to introduce traditional songs and nursery rhymes to the kids.
There
are 3 levels of difficulty with different contents and evaluation
criteria. The teacher can decide which level is more suitable for
his/her students.

Considering
that most of the ESL teachers have rather a limited selection of
authentic material, with audio-models and visual support, this
SPEAQ-quest might be a great solution.
Ask the students what nursery rhymes they already know and if they know any rhymes that contain animals. Introduce the SPEAQ-quest to the students, explain the task, make sure they have all necessary material to do the work. You can use the students' favourite songs and rhymes in your classroom routine!
